All kittens receive three age-appropriate doses of domestic vaccines and are in good health before leaving. If the kitten contracts FPV within 30 days of arrival without close contact with an infected cat, and the owner provides a diagnosis from a licensed veterinary hospital, the cattery will refund the full purchase price (if not cured) or cover treatment costs (if cured), up to the full purchase price. FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis): The causes of FIP are complex, with some risk of misdiagnosis. It often occurs shortly after a kitten changes environment. Therefore, the cattery offers a [3-month] FIP warranty. If the kitten is diagnosed with FIP within 3 months of arrival, the cattery will take back the kitten and cover all treatment costs. If the kitten unfortunately dies from FIP, the cattery will refund the full purchase price. Genetic Diseases: HCM2 (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Type 2), PRA-pd (Progressive Retinal Atrophy), and PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease). The cattery provides genetic test reports (from Chongzhiyin) for the kitten's parents, all testing negative for these diseases, eliminating hereditary risks. Since HCM can also be acquired later due to improper care or genetic mutation, if the kitten passes away from non-hereditary PKD/HCM2 before [two years of age], the owner may choose a free kitten of similar quality or receive a full refund as a one-time compensation. If the kitten passes away after [two years of age] from non-hereditary PKD/HCM2, the owner may purchase a kitten of similar quality at half price as a one-time compensation.
