Important: These Terms are an agreement between you and Fanmeowy (Xiamen) Network Technology Co., Ltd. (饭喵（厦门）网络科技有限公司) regarding your use of the iOS app "Zaine" (Bundle ID: com.fanmeowy.catteryCompanion). Please pay particular attention to Section 4, "Content rules and zero tolerance", and Section 7, "Disclaimers". By starting to use the app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted all of these Terms.
1. Acceptance of and changes to these Terms
1.1 Acceptance
By opening and using the app, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the app and delete it.
1.2 Changes
We may revise these Terms, and a revised version takes effect when it is published on this page. If you continue to use the app, you are deemed to have accepted the revised version; if you do not accept it, you may terminate these Terms as described in Section 8.
2. Account
2.1 Guest identity
When you first open the app, you use it as a guest, with no registration and no phone number required. This identity is anchored to this device and will be lost if you switch devices or erase the device.
2.2 Sign-in
You can sign in using Sign in with Apple to link your data to your Apple ID, so that you can get it back when you switch devices.
2.3 Use of your account
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Please do not let anyone else use your account.
2.4 Account deletion
You can delete your account at the bottom of the "Account" panel in the app. Once your account is deleted, it becomes unusable immediately and anything you made public is taken down at the same time; within 7 days, you can cancel the deletion by signing in with the same Apple ID, and when the 7 days are up, the data is permanently deleted.
3. The service
The app creates an interactive avatar of your pet and, built around it, provides:
- Avatar creation and scene display
- Conversations with the avatar
- To-dos and reminders (optionally written to your system calendar)
- Daily records (with optional pictures)
- Focus timer
- The Adoption board and share links (optional, off by default)
We may add, change, or discontinue any of these features. Generated content is produced by models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not what you expect. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind, including veterinary, medical, legal, or investment advice. For matters concerning your pet's health, please consult a licensed veterinarian.
4. Content rules and zero tolerance
4.1 You are responsible for the content you post
You are responsible for the photos you upload, the profile text you enter, and everything you make public on the Adoption board or show to others through share links, and you must ensure that you hold the necessary rights to it.
4.2 Zero tolerance: prohibited content
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content. You may not upload, post, distribute, or display in any way the following content:
- Content that violates laws or regulations, and any other information whose distribution is prohibited by law
- Pornographic, vulgar, or sexually suggestive content, or content that uses sex as a selling point
- Gory or violent content, animal abuse, or content that promotes or incites violence
- Hateful, discriminatory, or offensive speech based on ethnicity, race, religious belief, gender, region, disability, or similar grounds
- Harassment, abuse, threats, intimidation, doxxing, or other content that infringes others' personality rights or privacy
- Impersonation of other people or organizations, false advertising, scams, and ads that divert users elsewhere
- Content that infringes others' copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
4.3 Reporting and blocking
You can report content you believe is objectionable from a card on the Adoption board or from a share page. The reasons you can choose are: pornographic or vulgar content; gore or violence; advertising or diverting users elsewhere; scams or fraud; abuse or personal attacks; impersonation; illegal or prohibited content; and other. Once you submit a report, that content immediately stops appearing on your screen. You can also block a poster. Blocking is one-way: after you block someone, you will not see any of their content, and they will not be notified.

4.4 How and when we act
We complete the review of, and action on, a report within 24 hours of receiving it. Content confirmed to violate 4.2 will be removed and taken down from public display; for serious or repeated violations, we will ban the account, and virtual items already purchased will not be refunded. When the same content is reported by three or more different users, the system first takes it down from public display, and a manual review follows.
If you believe an action was taken in error, you can appeal to us as described in Section 9.
4.5 Generated content
Avatars are produced by generative models based on the photos you provide. You may not deliberately induce the models to produce any content listed in 4.2; if we find such use, we will act in accordance with 4.4.
5. Virtual items and in-app purchases
- Kibble is a virtual consumable item in the app, purchased through Apple In-App Purchase; prices are as shown in the App Store
- Kibble can be used only within the app and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms; please request them through Apple's refund channels. Once a refund succeeds, we will take back the corresponding kibble that was issued; if you have already used it, your balance may become negative and will need to be made up the next time you obtain or buy kibble
- If your account is banned or you delete your account, any remaining kibble will not be refunded
6. Intellectual property
6.1 Ours
The app and its interface, graphics, text, scene assets, and the like belong to the Company or the relevant rights holders. You may not copy, modify, or decompile the app or any part of it without permission.
6.2 Yours
The rights to the photos you upload and the text you enter remain yours. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license, to the extent necessary to provide the service, to store and process them, to create avatars, and to display them publicly when you turn on a public sharing switch. This license ends when you delete the content or delete your account.
7. Disclaimers
- The service is provided "as is", and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Generated content is produced by models, may contain errors, and does not constitute professional advice; you should use your own judgment before acting on it
- We are not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure, network failures, or outages of third-party services
- Please keep your own copies of important information. We will do our best to keep your data secure, but we are not liable for data loss beyond the scope required by law
8. Termination
8.1 Termination by you
You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting your account or deleting the app.
8.2 Termination by us
If you violate these Terms, in particular Section 4, we may, depending on the circumstances, remove content, restrict features, or ban your account, and stop providing the service to you.
9. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
If a dispute arises between the parties over the content or performance of these Terms, it shall be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with the people's court having jurisdiction over the place where the Company is located.
